This is an odd one; eating dirt could deal with the obesity crisis:

And celebrities like Shailene Woodley and Elle Macphereson have brought this unlikely nutrition trend back from ancient times, eating clay for detoxes. In an unusual turn of events, the new scientific research suggests they might be onto something: an unlikely way to fight obesity.”
I think we should call this the “North Korean communist diet,” since the people there seem to eat dirt for most meals, lacking food because the government is geared to making weapons of mass destruction. And, as poverty increasingly grips Australia, we too will see poor people everywhere digging around the way birds used to, before these featured creatures were all eaten.
